When we speak out about corruption, misconduct, and abuse of power in Child Protective Services (CPS) and the courts, people often think these are isolated incidents. But the truth is much more profound; our cases are connected in ways that reveal a disturbing pattern.
I, along with Marissa Hernandez, Susan Schofield, January Schofield, and Latesha Howard, share direct links through the very same social workers, managers, and judges. These are not coincidences — they are threads in a web of systemic failure.
Los Angeles County Connections
Marissa Hernandez and I both had social worker Lori Hirota assigned to our cases.
Susan Schofield and I share the same regional manager, Kelly Schreinder.
These repeated names show that misconduct and bias are not limited to one family; they span multiple cases, affecting numerous children and parents.
San Bernardino County Connections
Latesha Howard and I were both trapped in cases run through Victorville CFS.
We both faced Judge Steven Mapes presiding over our cases.
Again, the same officials, the same courts, the same harm repeated across families.
What This Means
These connections prove that this is not just about me or any one parent; it is about a system that reuses the same people to enforce the same destructive patterns. When the same social workers, managers, and judges appear in multiple cases that destroy families, it raises serious questions:
Conflict of Interest: How can the same officials preside over multiple connected cases without bias?
Accountability: Who is reviewing the conduct of these repeat players?
Systemic Abuse: How many more families are suffering under the same cycle?
A Call to the Public
The public needs to understand: our children are being taken by the same hands, over and over again, across multiple families. These connections show patterns, not coincidences.
This is why I fight. This is why we speak out. This is why reform must happen now.
To every parent reading this who has felt alone in their struggle — you are not alone. These names and connections are proof that we are fighting against the same machine. Together, we can expose the truth and demand accountability.
Share this. Talk about this. Ask why the same officials appear in case after case. Demand answers. Demand justice.
Because until we shine light on these connections, the cycle will continue.
