Our Mission: Supporting LGBT Youth
Growing up, I faced the same struggles that many LGBT youth experience today. My family tried to force me to conform to being straight due to their religious beliefs. That experience shaped my journey and fueled my commitment to give back to the LGBT Youth community.
No one deserves to feel unsafe or unloved in their own home. It’s time to empower LGBT youth to break free from abusive family environments and embrace their authentic selves. This platform exists to provide the resources, support, and encouragement they need to thrive.
You are not alone, and you don’t have to navigate this journey by yourself. Together, we can create a world where every LGBT youth feels safe, valued, and free to be who they are.

Signs and Prevention Tips for LGBT Youth
Recognizing the warning signs of suicide is essential for protecting the well-being of LGBT youth. These signs may include withdrawing from loved ones, expressing feelings of hopelessness, changes in behavior or mood, or verbalizing thoughts of self-harm. It’s important to listen with empathy and without judgment, creating a safe space for open communication.
Parents, friends, and allies can take immediate steps to provide support. Acknowledge the youth’s feelings and let them know they are not alone. Offer resources such as counseling services, crisis hotlines, or LGBTQ-friendly support groups. In moments of crisis, reaching out to trained professionals, such as those at the Trevor Project, can make all the difference.
Every effort to show understanding and provide support can save a life and help LGBT youth feel valued and loved. Empower them to seek the resources they need, and remind them that their identity is valid and worth celebrating.
