McArthur’s Story: DCFS Continue Harassment

On October 14, 2025, the McArthur family faced a frightening ordeal when the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services showed up at their home twice in one day without a court order. Social worker Francisco Hernandez arrived first at 12:50 a.m. and returned at 4:33 p.m. with sheriff’s deputies. Both visits were caught on video and shared publicly in our original post, “Audrey and Marcus McArthur’s Story: A Fight for Family — Our Journey Against Injustice.”

Today, October 15, 2025, at 1:32 PM, the harassment continued. DCFS social worker Stephanie Lopez returned to the McArthur home without police but again without a warrant or court order. This ongoing pattern of intimidation persists despite our issuance of a formal cease and desist notice to DCFS.

There is still no evidence, no court order, and no due process. This is not child protection. It is harassment and a violation of the McArthur family’s constitutional rights under the Fourth Amendment and the California Constitution. Families have the right to be safe in their own homes without fear of government intrusion.

Our organization, Stolen Children by CPS, has already notified DCFS Director Brandon Nichols, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, and the Public Inquiries Division. The cease and desist letter demands that DCFS immediately stop all unannounced visits and unlawful contact with the McArthur family. These incidents are now part of the ongoing federal civil rights lawsuit against Los Angeles County DCFS for retaliation, unlawful entry, and violation of due process rights.

The McArthur family continues to stand firm despite fear and intimidation. Their courage demonstrates that families can stand up against injustice and demand accountability from those who abuse their power. I emailed them again, and this time, I added their attorney in the email.
