Email Communication: Cease Harassment and Unlawful Contact with the McArthur Family
On August 26, 2024, our world collapsed. Our four boys—bright, loving, and full of life—were wrongfully taken from our California home because of false claims made by Raymond Joseph Franz, his wife Isabelle Anna Franz, and Breanna Nicole McArthur, the ex-wife of my husband, Marcus McArthur.
Despite their long absence from the boys’ lives, the court shockingly placed our children with Raymond in Texas—a man with a documented history of abuse.
Just days later, on August 30, 2024, our other two boys were taken as well. In the blink of an eye, our family was torn apart.
The Fight to Reunite Our Family
From that devastating day forward, we refused to give up. We completed every class, every counseling session, every court requirement thrown our way. But even after the juvenile court closed our case, our nightmare deepened: our home was raided by sheriff’s deputies, and both Marcus and I were arrested without a warrant.
Our only “crime” was trying to protect our children.
While in Raymond’s custody, our 10-year-old son Joseph suffered a life-threatening medical emergency—a moment that confirmed everything we feared. At the same time, Raymond’s criminal record grew worse: in 2025, he was arrested multiple times for assault, family violence, and protective order violations.
A Glimmer of Hope
After months of anguish, a California judge granted us full custody.
The order clearly stated that the boys were to be returned by September 20, 2025. But that day came and went—and the boys were never returned.
We turned to the Texas courts for enforcement, and on September 24, 2025, a judge set a court date for October 3.
Before that date, while we were shopping, we unexpectedly ran into the boys with Isabelle. She caused a public scene that led to my wrongful arrest on false allegations of violating a protective order that didn’t exist. I was released days later, shaken but determined.
The Courtroom Turning Point
On October 3, standing before the Texas judge, my heart raced as Isabelle arrived with our boys. The judge reviewed the California order, recognized its authority, and ruled that the boys be returned to us immediately.
When the bailiff began to escort them to us, Isabelle protested, but the judge stood firm. Justice, for once, seemed to prevail.
But that victory lasted only hours.
Harassment Begins Anew
Soon after leaving court, I received disturbing messages from Isabelle’s mother, Holly Lugo. Fearing for our safety, we reported everything to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Then came the night that still haunts us.
At 12:51 AM on October 14, 2025, an LA County sheriff and a DCFS worker arrived at our home unannounced. Later that same day, they returned again—followed by multiple calls from social worker Francisco Hernandez, who left two voicemails, continuing the pattern of harassment and intimidation.
This wasn’t protection. This was retaliation.
Our Call for Justice
We are speaking out because silence only empowers injustice.
We’ve endured raids, arrests, false accusations, and intimidation, all for trying to be loving, responsible parents.
Our case represents more than one family’s pain—it highlights how a broken system can weaponize false claims and destroy innocent families while abusers walk free.
We will not stop fighting. Our children deserve to come home, and every parent deserves fairness, dignity, and the right to be heard.
As we continue this fight, we share our story to shed light on the truth—and to say to every parent facing the same nightmare:
You are not alone. Love, truth, and resilience can and will prevail.
